Litany of Light

And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

And we are the children of the Light

God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.

And we are the children of the Light

The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

And we are the children of the Light

On those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.

And we are the children of the Light

In Christ was life, and that life was the light of men.

And we are the children of the Light

The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

And we are the children of the Light

Whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God

And we are the children of the Light

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

And we are the children of the Light

Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become children of light.
